Hey, I'm Maggie, webmaster of Ultrawr. I'm pretty bad at introducing myself, but i'll do my best to make it coherent enough.
For starters, I'm not the most social person at all ... I tend to keep to myself most of the time, but I do love meeting new people, especially those with the same interests as me. Honestly, I'm pretty chatty, and i won't shut up if one of my interests is mentioned ... I'm usually not the one to approach first, and might be hesitant to interact at first, but I warm up very quickly.
Now, how did i even get into coding? Good question, I don't even know myself.
I've tried many platforms to create my own profile online .. rentry, carrd, strawpage... but my first exposure to html and coding was sntry.cc when it was still up. It was the mere bare bones of what I eventually learned to do (in like .. a week), and while looking for graphics, I came across a neocities template on tumblr which really interested me ... see, I've heard of neocities before, but i've always put off making one for the soul reason of me getting frustrated with things easily — and I would've given up at the time. Though I caved in and taught myself HTML + CSS through w3schools ... and look at where that got me. I'm certified in HTML + CSS now so uh. Got me far.

This site went through multiple name changes: biscuitpng, wintercafe, ponpan, and now ultrawr. Ponpan is what I stuck with for a while, with the former names only existing in scraps. They were never actually launched.
Ponpan went through many versions before becoming Ultrawr, what it is today. It had around... 6 main versions? Versions 1 and 2 were both themed after pokemon, shaymin and blacephalon respectively. Version 3 was sort of a try at going for an old neocities theme style, and version 4 was centered around "love" and things in that nature. Very pink. Version 5 was more of a cutesy old-web kind of look...but then it was changed to look more like version 4. Version 6 was the start of my Transformers interest, and was themed after blitzwing.
Now look at what my beautiful site has become ... oh how I adore Ultra Magnus ... and by extention, Ultrawr.
My code runs on hopes and dreams. I make things more complicated for myself, and anyone looking to steal some code. Sorry.
